Mr. Varner’s extensive experience in silicone fabrication spans over 35 years, beginning with Dow Corning Corporation, Heyer Schulte, McGhan Medical, CUI, Specialty Silicone Fabricators and culminating in the formation of SSP. Jan has successfully launched numerous new medical device enterprises utilizing his strengths in strategic planning, sales and marketing, and business development for start-up medical device companies.

Jan founded SSP in 1997 with a commitment to providing those unique, specialty surgical products that may be overlooked by larger manufacturers. His vision of serving, not only as a product developer and manufacturer but also as the partner our customers require to help them solve their specialty product design challenges, is what shapes the focus of SSP.

Sherry J. Null
Co-Founder, Vice President Marketing/Sales

Ms. Null brings over 25 years experience in sales and marketing of medical devices to the plastic and pediatric surgery specialties to SSP. She has successfully developed and implemented marketing plans for new and improved product designs by understanding and responding to customer needs and wishes.

Her philosophy of partnering with each customer begins with the product design process and continues through the development process and product delivery. Exemplary customer service does not end with product delivery, but continues throughout the lifetime of the partnership, which is what brings customers back again and again.

Angela E. Lawrence
Manager, Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance

Ms. Lawrence came to SSP in 2001. Her background includes a B.S. in Materials Engineering coupled with over 10 years industry experience in materials fabrication, pharmaceutical and nutritional supplement quality control, process validation, and regulatory affairs.

Under her direction SSP has achieved ISO 9001:94 and ISO 13485:96 certification. Her dedication to quality management systems guarantees our customers that the highest quality standards apply at every stage of product development, fabrication and distribution.
