What is Repriza?
Repriza is an acceular dermal matrix prepared from human skin allograft that has been processed with the proprietary and patented processes of Promethean LifeSciences, Inc. Like our product GammaGraft room temperature stable skin allograft, Repriza is sterile, stored at ambient temperature, and ready to use right out of the package without any rehydration. Repriza is intended for implantation for reconstructive surgery wherever an accellular dermal matrix may be used, as for example in breast reconstruction, abdominal wall reconstruction, and augmentation of soft tissue irregularities.
Advantages
The proprietary processes used to produce Repriza offers two important advantages. First, the fact that Repriza is provided as a sterile product provides a higher level of confidence and safety. Second, the improved handling characteristics offer an ease of use that will be appreciated by both OR staff and surgeons.
Repriza may be stored for two years at ambient temperature and is immediately available for use on opening the package. Repriza requires no rehydration, soaking, or washing. It may be used right out of the package and will demonstrate superior handling characteristics facilitating use by the surgeon.
