Softspan™ Rectangular Expanders

The SOFTSPAN™ Tissue Expander incorporates Dr. Bruce Bauer’s years of clinical experience in dealing with the most difficult reconstructive expander cases. Critical to Dr. Bauer’s design concept is the minimization of all critical potential erosion points. To this end he has collaborated with Specialty Surgical Products to develop an expander design that can be used in the most difficult of cases while minimizing traditional areas of concern.

SPECIFIC DESIGN POINTS:

• Available in smooth or textured surfaces
• Remote Injection Port with lowest possible point of attachment reduces initial profile of expander.
• Rounding of all edges and reduced profile of all critical reinforced areas minimizes potential erosion points.
• Reinforced Base facilitates placement and “roll-out” of expander.
• Additional Connectors and Tubing allows flexibility in fill port location and intra-operative fill option.
• Winged Needle Infusion Set conveniently supplied sterile with each expander for incremental filling with your delivery system of choice.
