Biliary Catheter

The SSP Silicone Biliary Drainage Catheter is designed for long term external-internal drainage of benign and malignant biliary obstruction. The SSP catheters are constructed from implantable grade silicone elastomer. The soft silicone consistency provides for patient comfort and is easily changed percutaneously. Each catheter has 34 side holes providing efficient drainage and a radiopaque tantalum marker at the most proximal side hole and the tip for simplified positioning confirmation. The tapered tip facilitates percutaneous insertion and the end of each catheter may be easily cut in order to tailor the length to the anatomy of each individual patient.
